Local export: CSV and JSON files are assembled in this browser from the current session. The tool does not upload an export file or save a batch history.
Random address generator for safe development tests
The generator combines a region-matched address from a private pool of 103,189 deduplicated US and Canadian records with a fictional name, a reserved 555 test number, a masked preview of an officially assigned local phone prefix, and a disposable email address with inbox access. Generate 1, 5, 10, or 25 records, then copy the batch or download structured CSV and JSON files without registration.
Each result exposes the address line, city or municipality, state or province code, and ZIP or postal code as separate copy-ready fields. See the bulk address generator guide for CSV and JSON QA fixtures for field definitions and a safe staging workflow.

How to generate a random test address
NorthMock combines one address from the selected regional pool with contact fields created independently for development use. The browser requests generated values only after the stable page content loads, so the page itself does not publish a rotating identity to search engines.
- Choose a region. Select a US state, Canadian province or territory, or random mode. Use the dedicated address generator by ZIP code when a US fixture must match an exact five-digit ZIP.
- Choose a quantity. Generate 1 record for manual form filling or 5, 10, or 25 unique address selections for a small QA batch.
- Inspect separate fields. Copy the street line, city or municipality, two-letter region code, postal value, full address, safe phone, name, or email independently.
- Test the workflow. Open the gravityengine.cc inbox in a new tab for an email flow, or use the reserved phone formats without completing a real assigned subscriber number.
- Export if needed. Copy tab-separated rows or create CSV and JSON files locally in the browser. NorthMock does not upload the export or retain a batch history.
US and Canadian test address format comparison
The current pool contains 103,189 deduplicated records across 64 supported regions. Keep each address component in its own field so applications can validate US ZIP and Canadian postal-code rules without parsing a single display string.
| Field | United States | Canada | QA check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regional scope | 102,125 records across 51 states and Washington, DC pages | 1,064 records across 13 province and territory pages | Use the official two-letter code in a dedicated field. |
| Locality | City or USPS-recognized locality label | Municipality label | Do not replace the locality with the state or province name. |
| Postal value | Five-digit ZIP or source ZIP+4 | Uppercase A1A 1A1 postal pattern | Store as text to preserve leading zeroes and the Canadian middle space. |
| Safe phone | Region-aware area code plus reserved 555-0100 through 555-0199 line | Use national or strict E.164 output; keep assigned-prefix subscriber digits masked. | |
| Country route | Random US address generator | Random Canadian address generator | Use a country page for same-page regional switching and batch export. |
For complete mailing syntax and form-validation edge cases, read the US address format guide and Canadian address format guide. NorthMock is a QA fixture generator, not postal certification or deliverability verification.
Choose the right address generator workflow
Random North American record
Use the generator above when any supported US or Canadian region is acceptable and you need a quick, copy-ready test profile.
Fixed country or region
Use the US generator, Canadian generator, or a regional page when every result must remain within one selected location.
Exact US ZIP
Use the address-by-ZIP tool to change states in one screen and restrict results to an exact five-digit ZIP represented in the current pool.
New York City only
Use the NYC address generator to exclude upstate records and stay within documented five-borough ZIP groups.
CSV or JSON batch
Follow the bulk address test-data guide for the browser export schema, spreadsheet protections, and temporary-fixture workflow.
Automated API fixture
Use the address generator API for CORS-enabled JSON requests with regional, NYC, or exact US ZIP parameters.
Random address generator questions
Are NorthMock addresses real or fictional?
The regional address pool may contain real places. The name, mailbox, reserved phone, and address are selected or generated independently, so a result is not a real person's identity and does not claim that anyone lives at that address.
Can I use a generated address to receive physical mail?
No. NorthMock does not verify occupancy, current deliverability, mailbox access, or a relationship between the generated contact and the address. Use records only for legitimate development, QA, demos, and education.
Will the generated phone number reach a real subscriber?
The copy-ready number uses a local area code and the reserved 555-0100 through 555-0199 fictional range. A real assigned prefix is shown separately with its final four subscriber digits masked.
Does the disposable email still open an inbox?
Yes. Each generated gravityengine.cc address links to its matching mail.chatgpt.org.uk inbox in a new tab, preserving the original mailbox workflow.
Can I export multiple records?
Yes. Generate up to 25 records and copy the batch or download UTF-8 CSV and JSON files assembled locally in the browser.
How is the dataset checked?
Regional files are deduplicated and checked against expected state, province, ZIP, or FSA allocation rules. Read the NorthMock methodology, sources, and limitations for the exact process.
Designed for legitimate testing
- The complete copy-ready phone number uses a local area code and the reserved 555-0100 through 555-0199 fictional range.
- The real-prefix preview comes from current NANPA or CNA assignment data; its final four digits stay masked because they may belong to a real subscriber.
- Email addresses use gravityengine.cc and link to the matching disposable inbox.
- Fictional names are independently assembled from 400 aggregate SSA popular first names and 1,000 US Census surnames, providing 400,000 gender-tagged combinations without copying complete identities.
- Supplemental address data includes © OpenStreetMap contributors, data made available through OpenAddresses, information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Yukon, and public sector datasets under the City of Yellowknife Open Data License v1.
- Generated records are intended for development, demos, and sandbox validation only.
- Do not use generated data to impersonate people, receive physical mail, or bypass identity checks.
